Turkish People’s Views on the Death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi

According to a survey conducted throughout Turkey, 76.5% of Turkish people consider the helicopter crash that resulted in the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi as an assassination attempt carried out by internal or external forces rather than an ordinary accident.

The fact that the wreckage found by UAVs sent from Turkey is met with pride by 55.2% of the society.

External Forces At Work in the Death of the Chief!

The helicopter crash in May that killed Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahiyan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has sparked debates about whether it was an accident or an assassination. Raisi’s death has had a major impact in the world press.

41.3% of those who participated in the survey saw the helicopter crash as an assassination attempt by external forces. 34.7% think that an assassination attempt was made but pointed to internal forces. 23.5% see the incident as an ordinary accident.

Methodology of the Research

The survey, in which 2,503 people participated throughout Turkey, was conducted using the CAWI technique between 28-31 May 2024. The opinions of the public were determined in the quantitative survey conducted with “Areda Survey’s Profile-Based Digital Panel”.
