Türkiye-Hungary Relations Discussed Between the President and the Prime Minister
President Tayyip Erdoğan and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban discussed Turkey-Hungary relations, Turkey’s accession process to the European Union (EU), and regional and global issues. It was stated that Turkey expects support to revitalize the EU accession process and advance relations.

President Erdoğan also met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Washington. It was emphasized that the development of good neighborly relations and solidarity between Turkey and Greece will continue to increase.
US to Provide Strategic Air Defense System to Ukraine
US President Joe Biden announced that the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania and Italy will provide Ukraine with strategic and tactical air defense systems. Biden announced that they will make a historic donation for Ukraine’s air defense.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed Ukraine’s possible NATO membership. It was stated that “a bridge will be built” for Ukraine’s NATO membership at the NATO Summit.
Türkiye to Host NATO Summit
In the NATO Final Declaration, it was announced that the next summit would be held in Turkey after the one in the Netherlands. It was also decided that the allies would provide at least $40 billion in funds to Ukraine.
