Protesters gathered on Habib Bourguiba Street in the center of the capital Tunis upon the call of the Tunisian Association for Solidarity with Palestine to protest Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The crowd, adorned with Palestinian and Tunisian flags, made their voices heard with the slogans “Down with the Zionists, freedom for Palestine”, “We stand with Palestine with our blood and lives”, and “The two-faced world set Gaza and Palestine on fire”.
Human rights activist Said Buacle, who attended the demonstration, told AA that they have been organizing demonstrations in support of Gaza for 37 weeks and will continue these actions. Buacle emphasized that they organized various events to support the Al-Aqsa Flood, which is an uprising against racist discrimination in the world and the region.
