The Seyahatsever project, which started last year and will continue until August 25, has been expanded to include retirees. Now, young people between the ages of 18-30 as well as retirees will be able to benefit from this project.
Reservation Procedures
The names and addresses of the dormitories where accommodation will be provided within the scope of the project will be available on the Ministry of Youth and Sports website seyahatsever.gov.tr. The website will also include contact information for the dormitories and these numbers can be called for reservations.
Upon arrival at the dormitories, photos and fingerprints will be taken during registration, and rooms and beds will be prepared anew for each guest. Guests will also be able to benefit from services offered by the dormitories, such as free laundry.
The duration of stay has increased
This year, the duration of stay in dormitories within the scope of the Seyahatsever project was increased from three to five days. Last year, 100 thousand young people and the year before 325 thousand young people benefited from the project. In the first year of the project, 325 thousand young people applied.
Most In-Demand Cities
The cities with the highest demand for the Seyahatsever project in 2023 were Antalya and Ankara. However, applications were also made from many regions such as Istanbul, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Mersin, Bolu, Karabük, Muğla, Trabzon, Erzurum, Çeşme, Kuşadası and Yalova.
