Traffic police in Bursa did not allow drunk drivers to pass during the night time operation. When a driver was found to have 113 per mille of alcohol during the inspections, the moments when the police did not give up on him were captured on camera. The driver rebelled against the seizure of his vehicle and defended himself by saying, “We are all human.”
Traffic police, who set up an enforcement point on Gökdere Boulevard in the Osmangazi district of Merkez, carried out strict checks against drunk driving. When a driver blew into a breathalyzer and had 113 per mille of alcohol, police teams said the vehicle would be impounded. Thereupon, the driver tried to convince the police for minutes. However, he could not prevent his vehicle from being banned from traffic.
The driver, whose license was confirmed due to drunk driving, was fined 6 thousand liras. While the police remained patient, the necessary procedures were carried out despite the driver’s insistence and the driver’s vehicle, which did not comply with the traffic rules, was banned from traffic.
