In a traffic accident that occurred at the Kocaeli crossing of the Northern Marmara Highway, a car and the vehicle it hit from behind were thrown off the road and into a green area. 4 people were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred at the Gulf crossing on the Northern Marmara Highway in the direction of Istanbul. The Fiat car with the license plate 24 ABU 225, driven by AAB, crashed into the Hyundai car with the license plate 50 AAJ 339, driven by Ş.T. The Fiat car, which went off the road due to the impact, was thrown into a green area and proceeded for about 50 meters, mowing down small trees.
In the accident, the driver and three people in the Hyundai brand vehicle were injured, while the driver of the Fiat car escaped the accident with minor injuries.
After the incident was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were sent to the hospital after the first aid by the medical teams.
A detailed investigation into the accident has been launched.
