It was reported that a tractor that collided with a light commercial vehicle was split in two in a traffic accident that occurred in the Ürgüp district of NEVŞEHİR. It was reported that the rake at the back of the tractor was thrown and stuck into the car coming from behind, and a total of 8 people were injured, 1 of whom was seriously injured.
The accident occurred in the morning hours near Sarıhıdır village in Ürgüp district. As a result of the collision between the tractor with the registration number 50 AAB 646 driven by N.Ç. (73) and the light commercial vehicle with the registration number 50 ACU 114 driven by SD (36) which was travelling in the same direction, the tractor split in two. During the collision, the rake at the back of the tractor got stuck in the windshield of another car with the registration number 34 DNU 867 driven by KB which was coming from behind and travelling in the same direction.
The 8 people injured in the accident were taken to Ürgüp State Hospital after receiving first aid from the gendarmerie and medical teams dispatched to the scene. The seriously injured tractor driver was sent to Kayseri City Hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
