During the visit to TOGG’s factory in Gemlik, M. Gürcan Karakaş met with the Board Members and provided information about TOGG’s founding story and goals. Karakaş emphasized that TOGG set out with the aim of becoming a global technology company with the philosophy of “More than an automobile” and said, “The reason we prefer mobility is our vision of becoming a competitive technology company.”
Karakaş stated that they acted with the slogan of “Journey to Innovation” and said, “We will lead the sector by using innovative technologies such as mobile phones in automobiles.” He also emphasized that TOGG’s shareholder structure created a natural ecosystem and that the intellectual property rights belonged entirely to them, and said that they took important steps in terms of localization.
Karakaş also stated that work on the new model T10F is ongoing. During the visit, a special gift was presented to Karakaş by BUSİAD Board Chairman Buğra Küçükkayalar. In addition, BUSİAD Board members had the opportunity to tour the factory and test drive the T10X vehicles.
