District Governor Mehmet Gündoğdu and Public Prosecutor Ali Osman Tan attended the tobacco harvest event held in Karacasu district. Authorities that support the tobacco harvest, one of the most important sources of income for the district, came together with farmers and worked in the fields.
District Governor Gündoğdu, who participated in the harvest, chatted with the farmers and shared their efforts. Gündoğdu listened to the problems faced by tobacco producers and wished this year’s harvest to be fruitful. Emphasizing that tobacco production, which is of vital importance to the regional economy, is a source of income for families in the region, the District Governor stated that they will continue to support farmers.
