Delivery of Supporting Equipment from TIKA Herat Office
TIKA Herat Office has made an important delivery of equipment to strengthen the media sector in Afghanistan. In the statement, it was stated that various technical equipment such as cameras, cameras, drones, sound recorders, stabilizers, LED light sets, microphone sets, sound mixers, generators, batteries, memory cards, hard disks, lenses, bags, computers and generators were delivered to Afghan authorities.
Speaking at the ceremony where this meaningful delivery was made, TIKA Herat Office Coordinator Arafat Sea, emphasized that they will continue to support Afghan journalists. Expressing that they want the media sector in Afghanistan to develop strongly, Deniz said, “Press and broadcasting in Afghanistan not only provide access to news, but also play an important role in the field of culture and education. For this reason, we provided this equipment as TIKA so that the relevant television unit of the Ministry of Culture and Information, the national news agency Bakhtar and the Ittifak-ı İslam newspaper, which has been operating for 104 years, can be more effective in the field of communication and publishing. “

He stated that such support greatly contributes to the strengthening of the media sector.

Thanks to this support consisting of press tools and technical equipment, Bakhtar News Agency and İttifak-ı İslam newspaper under our directorate will be able to work more efficiently not only in Herat but also in the entire region.”
