In an official statement made by the ministry, information was given about an incident that occurred in the Claw-Lock operation region. On August 3, a hand-made explosive device previously planted by members of the separatist terrorist organization exploded. As a result of this explosion, our heroic comrade-in-arms was seriously injured. Infantry Sergeant Major Muhammed Emin ÖnkHe was treated in intensive care at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital.
Unfortunately, despite all interventions, our hero was martyred on August 20. This painful event has deeply saddened us and plunged our nation into mourning. The sacred memory of our martyr will always live in our hearts.
