According to eyewitnesses, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft launched an attack on the area where displaced Palestinians were staying in al-Mawasi. It was reported that at least two rockets exploded in the attack on Istabl Street. Health sources stated that five Palestinians, including a girl, were killed and many others were injured. The injured were transferred to the Nasser Health Complex and Kuwait Hospital west of Khan Younis.
On the other hand, the occupying Israeli forces struck workplaces in the center of Khan Younis city with a reconnaissance plane. Three Palestinians lost their lives in the attack on the workplaces in the Sikka area near Et-Ehliye.
The Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee announced in a statement that an operation would be carried out in areas declared as “safe” zones east of Khan Younis. Adraee called on the residents of the area to evacuate and asked them to move away from the areas targeted by Israel. It was reported that 54 Palestinians lost their lives in one day in the attacks carried out by the Israeli army on areas it claimed were “safe” in the Gaza Strip.
