TEKNOFEST 2023: International and High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races

This year, a total of 631 teams applied for TEKNOFEST, which will be held at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus between August 12-17. International and High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Raceswill be held. As a result of the report and video evaluations, 73 teams that were found successful have earned the right to participate in the race area. These teams will compete fiercely on the track located in the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus between the specified dates.

The aim of the competition is to ensure that the most efficient electric vehicles are created, from design to technical equipment. In this process, it is aimed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and experience in vehicle technologies. In addition, participants are encouraged to conduct research on the subject and follow the latest developments in the world.

Over 1 Million TL in Prizes

The competition aims to popularize the use of alternative and clean energy sources in the automotive industry and to raise awareness by informing the public about the application of alternative energies in vehicle technologies. The competition is divided into two main categories:

  • Electromobile:Battery-powered electric vehicles
  • Hydromobile:Hydrogen-powered electric vehicles

Turkish citizens or foreign nationals studying in Turkey or abroad, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and high school students can participate in the competition. The winning teams will receive a total of Over 1 Million TL in prizeswill be given.

TEKNOFEST is organized under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, with the support of Turkey’s leading technology companies, public institutions, media organizations and universities.
