A person named YEÇ., who allegedly had psychological problems, attempted suicide by climbing onto the roof of a passage on Orhangazi Street in Murtaza Neighborhood in the Ereğli district of Zonguldak.

When the people around noticed the situation, the 112 Emergency Call Center was notified, and medical teams and police were dispatched to the scene. The teams made an effort to persuade YEÇ. and were successful after about half an hour of work. The person was safely lowered from the roof.
YEÇ., who received the first aid at the scene, was later taken to the Karadeniz Ereğli Central Police Station to be interrogated.
