14-year-old Göktuğ Ege Kırgıl, a student at Şirinyer Concept Private Education Course in Izmir, received 500 points by answering all the questions correctly in the High School Transition System (LGS) central exam held on June 2. Kırgıl evaluated his success by saying, “I believed that I would get 500 points.”
Student’s Exam Process and Success
Göktuğ Ege Kırgıl stated that he did not have difficulty in running the private teaching institution and school at the same time before the exam. She emphasized that the one-on-one lessons she received at the private teaching institution and the help of the teachers made a great contribution. She stated that she prepares by taking at least 3-4 exams every week and solving lots of tests.
Kırgıl, who described the moment when he was worried about an accident he had a week before the exam, stated that he experienced emotional sadness after the exam and that the support of his family and teachers was very valuable to him.
Kırgıl stated that he targeted Galatasaray High School, believing that he would answer all the questions correctly in the exam, and that he wanted to be interested in mathematics. He advised students who will take the exam next year to go to private teaching institutions, use the right resources and solve plenty of tests.
Pride of the School Principal and the Family
Deniz Günay, Director of Şirinyer Concept Private Education Course, stated that behind Kırgıl’s success throughout the process, there were factors such as taking regular trial exams and learning from his mistakes. He stated that they were proud of his student’s success.
Kırgıl’s mother, Bedia Kırgıl, stated that she always supported her son by believing that he would be successful and that despite the exam stress, she knew that the result would be good. She advised other families to trust their children and be there for them in every situation.
