The fire, which broke out in the area where stubble was burned in Yolçatı District of Nilüfer district in Bursa, grew in a short time and spread to the forest, including the Bursa Uludağ University campus. The smoke rising from the fire area can be clearly seen from many points of the city.
As a result of the rapid spread of the flames under the influence of the wind, smoke rising from the area where animal farms are located is watched with concern by the surrounding citizens. Upon notice, fire brigade, Forest Management Directorate, police and medical teams were dispatched to the region. The teams took action quickly to fight the fire.
Bursa Uludağ University campus is also in danger and the intense efforts of the teams continue to prevent the spread of flames. Fire extinguishing efforts are being carried out meticulously.
