AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, in a statement he made on his official Twitter account, harshly criticized the words of the New Welfare Party Deputy Chairman Doğan Aydal towards President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Çelik included the following statements in his statement: “The words of the Deputy Chairman of the New Welfare Party, Doğan Aydal, ‘If Erdoğan does not change the constitution, he will go to another country, to America’ are an ugly lack of awareness and disrespect. We strongly condemn these words. The brave stance of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, from the fight against tutelage to the fight against all kinds of terrorism and FETÖ, from February 7 to July 15, is known by the whole world and our dear nation appreciates it.”
Çelik continued by saying: “The disrespectful expressions used by the Deputy Chairman of Yeniden Refah, Doğan Aydal, towards our President are not only a manifestation of ugliness, but also a clear overstepping of bounds. We have fought hard against this ugliness and slander, and we will continue to respond politically and legally from now on…”
