According to the official Palestinian agency WAFA, Prime Minister Mustafa received the newly appointed Consul General of Turkey to Palestine, Çobanoğlu, at his office in Ramallah. Çobanoğlu presented Mustafa with his letter of credibility and emphasized the historical and friendly relations between the two countries.
Mustafa expressed his gratitude for Turkey’s support for the Palestinian cause and stated that it stands by the Palestinian people on international platforms. He also expressed his appreciation for Turkey’s sensitivity towards Israel’s attacks on the Palestinian people.
Prime Minister Mustafa emphasized the importance of strengthening and developing relations between Turkey and Palestine, and stated that efforts should be increased to complete the industrial zone project in the city of Jenin.
Consul General Çobanoğlu also expressed his happiness for his duty in Palestine and emphasized that Turkey will continue to support the Palestinian cause in the international arena. He also stated that the work for the rapid completion of the industrial zone project in Jenin will be closely monitored.
