MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made statements regarding the martyrdom of Hamas Political Bureau Chief İsmail Haniye. The following statements were included in the message Bahçeli shared on his social media account:
“The brutal assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in his residential neighborhood in Tehran this morning will deepen the chaos that has gripped the Middle East even more. The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, simultaneously with Israel’s attacks on Gaza and ultimately Lebanon, will undoubtedly have grave consequences. It must not be a coincidence that the aforementioned assassination took place after the Israeli Prime Minister’s visit to the US, and moreover in Tehran. Of course, those who ordered and tendered the terrorist act, provided support and created the environment. “as heavily responsible as those who committed the act.”
“The multi-dimensional repercussions and operational repercussions of the Haniyeh assassination are inevitable. The cards are being played openly. An undeclared state of war is in circulation.
