The Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Team Command, operating under the Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command, organizes training by its trainer and instructor personnel in order to increase their effective response capabilities in earthquake situations.
The training will be held in the Aydın AFAD Provincial Directorate Conference Hall and AFAD Debris Training Area and consists of theoretical and practical stages. In the theoretical training, the basics of search and rescue operations, equipment and intervention methods are discussed in detail.
Practical training aims to develop the skills of gendarmerie personnel by supporting them with realistic scenarios. The training aims to increase the ability of gendarmerie personnel to act quickly and effectively in times of earthquake.
Authorities stated that the training was an important step towards strengthening the professional equipment of the gendarmerie personnel and emphasized that similar training activities will continue in the future.
