Mayor of Samsun’s Canik district, İbrahim Sandıkçı, emphasized that the district stands out with its common sense, transparent and participatory municipality approach. Speaking at the Canik City Council 7th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, Mayor Sandıkçı stated that they care about the demands and suggestions of the citizens.
Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı also made statements regarding the investments brought to the district, stating that efforts to provide equal and effective services to citizens continue. Mayor Sandıkçı said, “We work with our fellow citizens with a common sense approach, and shape our projects in line with their ideas and requests. We will continue our work that adds value to Canik and increases the quality of life.”
Emphasizing the importance of Canik City Council, Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı received great applause after his speech.
Following the discussions held at the 7th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Canik City Council, the Canik City Council President and the board of directors were elected. President İbrahim Sandıkçı congratulated Samsun University Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Çam, who was elected as the Canik City Council President as a result of the election, and the board members, and wished them success.
Canik District Governor Vehbi Bakır, Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı, representatives of Canik district public institutions and organizations, representatives of political parties and representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the meeting held at the Sezai Karakoç Canik Cultural Center.
