The occupation leaders committed a full-fledged war crime by using Palestinian prisoners as human shields in the operations carried out by the Nazi occupation army in the Gaza Strip. Using these statements, Rishk stated that this action clearly violated all the laws of war and the rights of the prisoners. He also drew attention to the fact that international agreements, laws and treaties were ignored.
Rishk stressed that the crime of human shields has been added to the list, along with various violations that Palestinian detainees and captives are subjected to, such as starvation, humiliation and abuse. These violations include serious crimes such as deliberate medical neglect, deprivation of food and medicine, breaking of limbs, slow killing and executions in the field.
Rishk recalled an incident in Jenin when Israeli soldiers shot and wounded three young men during a house raid, using one of them as a human shield. One of the young men was tied to the hood of a military jeep and used as a human shield, preventing aid teams from intervening.
Rishk called on the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to try the occupation leaders for violating national and international law, and requested that the crime of human shields be added to these files.
