An exciting festival was held in the 6th week of the 7-week Quran education at the Molla Hüsrev Mosque in Topağacı District. Children and young people attended this special event with their families. The festival offered participants the opportunity to collect unforgettable memories.
Umraniye District Mufti Abdulkerim Celik, in his speech at the program, touched upon the meaning of the event and emphasized that such organizations strengthen social ties. Çelik drew attention to the importance of learning the Quran, “May God grant us the ability to raise youth and generations that will show mercy to their parents.”he said.
Mufti Çelik also emphasized the necessity of reviving the soul, “First we will cleanse our souls, then we will move on to reviving the generation. Generations cannot be revived unless the souls are cleansed and trampled upon.” “May my Lord increase their numbers.”he said.
Imam of Molla Khusraw Mosque Osman Korkmaz, stated that the children were entrusted to them during the summer Quran course. Korkmaz, “We saw every second of our children’s time as precious and tried not to waste it. Thanks to this festival, our children will love mosques more. Our mosques will have a beautiful place in their hearts and memories, God willing.”He used the expressions.
From the students who took part in the event Rain Uzuntas, stating that he runs to the mosque every day, “I don’t want it to end, but when schools started, I learned that I could join the 7-10 age projects and come to this mosque this way. I was very happy. It’s a good thing that the 7-10 age projects were opened.”“The positive effects of such projects on children will contribute to the religious education of future generations,” he said.
