Clinical Psychologist Cebeci, one of the Coordinators of Psychologists for Palestine, made important assessments on the traumas experienced after the genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the effects of the ongoing genocide in Gaza on the victims, and preventing the transfer of trauma between generations.

Cebeci emphasized that people who witnessed the Srebrenica genocide at the end of the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced deep traumas, and stated that similar sufferings are being repeated in Gaza today. Cebeci, who stated that traumas are likened to emotional wounds that deeply wound the soul, drew attention to the fact that these wounds can be overcome by intervention, according to their depth and seriousness.
