The police response to pro-Palestinian demonstrations in New York City the other day has become harsher. Ten protesters chanting slogans were dragged on the ground by the police and then detained with plastic handcuffs. Some protesters were injured, while Rabbi Dovid Feldman, spokesman for the International Organization of Jews Against Zionism, was also detained by American police.
Neturei Karta members who supported the protest also encountered police intervention. Pro-Israeli people who arrived at the area at the same time were seen attacking pro-Palestinian demonstrators. As a result of this attack, two pro-Israeli people were handcuffed and detained by the police.
