Doctors at Avde Hospital in the Nusayrat Refugee Camp in Gaza have successfully saved the life of a nine-month pregnant woman who was brought dead to the hospital in the wee hours of the night, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Brought to the emergency room of Avde Hospital, the Palestinian mother gave birth to her baby via Caesarean section. It was reported that the baby was placed in an incubator in the neonatal ward at the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
It was emphasized that the operation was carried out by obstetricians and gynecologists. Avde Hospital continues to provide health services as the only hospital providing gynecology and obstetrics services in the central part of the city during the ongoing events in the Gaza Strip.
