Tradesmen affected by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş in Osmaniye are trying to continue their business in the Cebelibereket Container Bazaar. However, an unfortunate incident among the earthquake victims targeted the workplace of Nagihan Başaran, who sells home-cooked meals.
When Nagihan Başaran came to work in the morning, she noticed that the door and air conditioning were on. When she stepped inside, she encountered washed pans and spoons next to the kitchen counter. Başaran, who was shocked by the incident, initially thought that her son had entered the workplace and called immediately. However, when her son stated that he had not gone to the workplace, she realized the truth: The workplace had been broken into by a thief.
When other shopkeepers in the area told of similar experiences, Başaran’s astonishment grew even greater. His stuffed meatballs had been stolen, his pans had been used and even washed. Başaran said, “This is the first time I’ve encountered such an incident in my life. When I opened the cupboard, I noticed the deficiencies. After the incident, I took the necessary precautions and changed the locks on the door. I hope “Such situations will not happen again.”
