Palestinian Athletes Arrive in Paris
Palestinian athletes, who arrived in Paris from the Jordanian capital Amman, were greeted enthusiastically by Palestinian supporters and members of the national and international press. Supporters who came to greet the delegation wore Palestinian keffiyehs around their shoulders and necks, while some wore T-shirts with the slogans “Boycott the Israeli occupation” and “No one is free until Palestine is free.”
The group, carrying Palestinian flags, showed their support at the airport by chanting slogans such as “Long Live Palestine”, “Free Palestine”, “We Are All Palestinians”, “Long Live the Resistance of the Palestinian People” and “End the “Occupation, Israel is a Terror State”.
Supporters who called for a boycott of Israel during the Olympics and sanctions against the country, gave morale to Palestinian athletes and expressed their support for Palestine.
Palestinian athletes presented keffiyehs and scarves with Palestinian flag patterns to the citizens who came to greet them. Supporters welcomed the athletes with great love and enthusiasm.
