Demonstration Organized by the National Forum to Support the Resistance

Direnişi Desteklemek için Ulusal Forum'un Çağrısıyla Düzenlenen Gösteri

Hundreds of people attended a demonstration in Amman after evening prayers, called by the National Forum. The demonstrators marched from the Al-Husseini Mosque to the Nahil (Palm) Square, expressing their opposition to normalization with Israel.

Slogans and Banners of the Protesters

  • “The people do not want normalization with Israel”
  • “Greetings from Amman to Sana”
  • “No to Zionist embassy on Jordanian soil”

Demonstrators also protested Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. Banners read, “While students around the world receive diplomas, students in Gaza receive martyrdom” and “The only solution is resistance and more resistance.”

Operation of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades

Hamas’ armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive operation on October 7, 2023, to respond to Israel’s violations against Palestinians and sacred values.

Statements from Israel

Israel announced that 1,200 Israelis were martyred and 5,132 were injured in the attacks on October 7. At least 38,848 Palestinians were martyred and 89,459 were injured in the attacks on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army announced that 682 of its soldiers were martyred.

During the “humanitarian pause” in the conflicts, 81 Israeli and 240 Palestinian prisoners were mutually released. However, Israel is still holding thousands of Palestinians. In the West Bank and Jerusalem, 576 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks.
