Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that the Medium Term Program (MTP) will be updated in September, taking into account developments in Turkey and the world. In his statement before the AK Party Group meeting, Yılmaz emphasized that they continue to adhere to the MTP announced last year, saying, “We strongly maintain our goal of reducing inflation in particular, but we will update the MTP in line with changing conditions. The macroeconomic framework and figures will be revised according to developments in the world and Turkey. We will manage this process in a participatory manner. Our ministers will meet with the relevant parties and exchange ideas. “We will update the MTP with the approval of our President in September and continue to implement it with determination.”
