Far-right Heritage Minister of Occupying Israel Amicha Eliyahu, made a scandalous post. The minister requested the purchase of a t-shirt with a map on it. In the post, the map on the t-shirt shows the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip and even Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula added to the Israeli map.

In the post shared by Eliyahu, “The people want occupation! Occupation now!”The Times of Israel newspaper reported that the Israeli Prime Minister’s Press Office and the Ministry of Heritage did not answer questions on the issue.

Occupied in 1967

Israel occupied the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Sinai Peninsula following the “Six-Day War” in 1967. However, Israel ended its occupation of the Sinai Peninsula in 1982 by signing the Camp David Accords with Egypt.
