We Will Develop Good Relations with All Countries

Bütün Ülkelerle İyi İlişkileri Geliştireceğiz

TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş visited the Diyanet Center of America in Washington, the capital of the USA, where he was present for the NATO Parliament Speakers Summit. Kurtulmuş, who came together with Turks in the USA and representatives of civil society organizations, said, “We are entering the upcoming period much stronger with the understanding of a strong Turkey and a strong society. As Turkey, we will continue on our path by evaluating the opportunities in front of us, not by being discouraged by certain threats we face or by withdrawing and stepping back from certain developments.”

Emphasizing that “There is no other country in the world that has as many different foreign policy cards as we do,” Kurtulmuş said, “Therefore, without ever putting on blinkers, without ever having a one-sided understanding, we will develop good relations with all countries in the world and we will make an effort to use this for the good of our nation, our region and humanity. We are already demonstrating this stance and the results of this understanding in the face of different crises. When we say ‘The world is bigger than five,’ we are not just saying this as a slogan, we are not putting this forward as a political argument either. We see this as one of the most important needs of the world and we are mobilizing all our power as Turkey to confirm this.”
