NATO Heads of State and Government Summit Begins
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Washington, DC, to attend the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit, which will take place in Washington, DC, the capital of the United States. The summit will bring together leaders of 32 NATO member countries for three days.
US Exit from Turkey
In addition to President Erdoğan, his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, MIT Director İbrahim Kalın and other officials also went to Washington to attend the summit. The Turkish delegation was welcomed at Andrews Military Air Base.
Erdogan to Hold Bilateral Meetings
President Erdoğan, who will attend the meeting of heads of state and government as part of the NATO Summit, will also hold bilateral meetings with some leaders. Erdoğan, who will also attend NATO’s 75th Anniversary Commemoration Event today, is expected to make important contacts during the summit process.
