A mobile immigration point was established in the Kumsaz region of Gemlik in order to effectively combat irregular immigration and migrant smuggling. It was stated that this step aims to prevent smuggling activities as well as ensuring the safety of migrants.
Bursa Governor Mahmut Demirtaş and Gemlik District Governor Hasan Göç visited this important migration point and made examinations. Gençali Neighborhood Headman Mürüvet Günay also joined the visit and supported it.
Governor Mahmut Demirtaş shared the following statement on his social media account: “We visited the “Mobile Migration Point” application, which operates within the scope of combating irregular migration and migrant smuggling, and received information about the work being done. We continue our inspections with determination for the security of migrants and the country.”
