Ministry Statement
The ministry made a written statement regarding the post made by the occupying Israeli Foreign Minister Katz on a social media platform. The statement stated that Katz was seen to continue to make “disrespectful, false and slanderous statements.” The statement noted that such statements would not allow to change the real agenda in the region and said, “The Israeli Government is trying to extend its power in time by killing innocent Palestinians; it is causing unrest and instability in our region with the policies It is the following. The Israeli Government should immediately end the oppression it is implementing in Gaza and agree to a permanent ceasefire.” The statement emphasized that Turkey will continue to defend the rights of the Palestinians.
The occupying Israeli Foreign Minister Katz had shared a slanderous and insulting post on his social media account targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
