MINISTER TUNÇ: 2 PUBLIC PROSECUTORS WERE ASSIGNED
Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc, in a statement he made on his social media account, said, “A judicial investigation has been launched by the Torbali Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office regarding the explosion that occurred in a restaurant in the Torbali district of Izmir, and 2 public prosecutors have been assigned under the coordination of the Torbali Chief Public Prosecutor. The investigation is being carried out meticulously. I wish God’s mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the explosion and a speedy recovery to our injured citizens.”
MINISTER IŞIKHAN: OUR INSPECTORS WERE ASSIGNED TO INVESTIGATE THE ACCIDENT
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan also made a statement on his social media account, saying, “We are deeply saddened by the explosion that took place at a workplace in the Torbalı district of İzmir. Our ministry inspectors have been assigned to investigate the accident and the necessary examinations will be carried out. As our ministry, we are closely following the process. I wish God’s mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the explosion and a speedy recovery to our injured. Get well soon İzmir.”
