According to the statement made by the Ministry, Minister Tekin visited Seyranbağları Primary School, where psychological support, adaptation training and Turkish language teaching courses are organized for children brought to Turkey after Israel’s genocidal policies against Palestine.
Various services such as psychological support, adaptation training and Turkish language teaching are offered within the scope of the education program initiated by the ministry for the children brought to Turkey after the massacres in Gaza.
Minister Tekin met with 220 Palestinian children receiving education during the summer school, visited the classrooms where the children were receiving education and chatted with the students in Turkish.
Minister Tekin emphasized during the visit that Turkey is always on the side of Palestine and stated that the needs of the children of Gaza will be met and that they will always be by their side.
Palestinian children expressed their delight at Minister Tekin’s visit, saying they felt at home in Turkey and thanked them for the educational opportunities provided.
Deputy Minister Nazif Yılmaz and Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin also attended the visit.
