Details of Inspections

A total of 2,786,451 vehicles were checked during traffic inspections conducted between June 20-27. As a result of these inspections:

• Speed ​​​​Violation:140 thousand 947 vehicles were processed.
• Lack of Periodic Inspection:29 thousand 308 vehicles were detected.
• Seat Belt Use:16,678 drivers were warned.
• Driver’s License Check:14,433 drivers were fined.
• Compulsive traffic insurance:The action was taken for 10 thousand 587 vehicles.

A total of 433 thousand 207 vehicles/drivers were penalized.

Minister Yerlikaya’s Warning

Minister of the Interior Yerlikaya drew attention to obeying traffic rules and not speeding during journeys. Emphasizing the importance of using seat belts, he said, “Journeys are for reuniting with loved ones, not for separating them. Therefore, let’s not forget to wear seat belts.”
