Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy opened the Van Culture Road Festival at the Van Museum to host an exciting event. Within the scope of the festival, a 9-day program full of rich content such as concerts, exhibitions, performances and screenings, interviews, workshops and gastronomy activities will be presented.
The Festival Will Last for 9 Days
In his statement, Minister Ersoy said, “We will bring all the colors of music and the richness of performing arts to the people of Van. The main stage was set up in Atatürk Culture Park and famous artists will give concerts. In addition, artists from the State Theaters, State Opera and Ballet and the choir affiliated with the General Directorate of Fine Arts “During the festival, Van will turn into an art gallery; “many works of art and applications such as paintings, photography, calligraphy, historical costumes, sculptures and digital installations will be exhibited.”
11 Different Taste Stops
Minister Ersoy also stated that they determined 11 different points in Van as ‘Festival Taste Stops’ within the scope of the festival. Local flavors will be introduced and presented at these points. Ersoy visited the exhibitions opened in the Van Museum and closely followed the events organized.
