Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that the forest fires that occurred recently in the Selçuk and Menderes districts of İzmir, Kuşadası district of Aydın and Susurluk district of Balıkesir have been brought under control. Minister Yumaklı said in a statement on his social media account, “Our teams successfully intervened in the forest fires that broke out in İzmir and Aydın and brought the fires under control. Our cooling efforts are currently ongoing. I would like to convey my best wishes to our citizens who were harmed during this process. I would like to thank our forestry organization and other institutions for their devoted work.”
