Minister Memişoğlu, who made various observations during his visit to Rize the other day, visited the Rize Governorship. He then met with the Vice President of the Presidential Health and Food Policies Board Prof. Dr. Serkan Topaloğlu, Deputy Minister of Health Şuayip Birinci, Rize Governor İhsan Selim Baydaş and other officials. Minister Memişoğlu, who made a statement to reporters after the meeting, stated that they evaluated Rize’s health situation and shared their plans for the future.

Minister Memişoğlu emphasized that efforts to improve health services in Rize are ongoing, saying, “We are working hard to ensure that a patient in Rize can receive all the health services they need without having to go to other regions. We will also take steps to strengthen family medicine and basic health services in Rize. Protecting the health of our people and taking precautions before diseases are our top priorities.”
After the visit, Minister Memişoğlu visited the AK Party Provincial Directorate and Rize Municipality and exchanged views with local authorities.
