Minister Hakan Fidan made an important post following Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ address at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) General Assembly. In his post on the X social media platform, Fidan made the following statements following Abbas’ speech at the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly:
“The day will certainly come when Palestinians will live freely in their own land, under the roof of their own state. Turkey will continue to stand by its Palestinian brothers in their just cause.”
Palestinian leader Abbas attracted attention with his 46-minute speech at the Turkish Grand National Assembly. He was met with great enthusiasm and received a standing ovation from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, members of parliament and invitees. This once again demonstrated Turkey’s determination on the Palestinian issue.
