In a traffic accident that occurred in the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep, a minibus and a car collided head-on. One person died and five people were injured in the accident.
The incident took place on the Sırasöğüt-Burç road. A transit vehicle with the license plate 42 AFY 342, whose driver has not yet been identified, collided with a Tofaş brand car with the license plate 27 ZC 849, which was heading in the direction of Sırasöğüt Neighborhood. As a result of the collision, the car split in two.
Upon notification from citizens in the area at the time of the accident, medical teams and gendarmerie were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that Döne Turgut, 48, who was in the car, had died. The 5 injured people were taken to hospitals for treatment, and 2 people in serious condition were taken to intensive care.
An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
