According to a written statement by Hezbollah, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah met with a Hamas delegation. The Hamas delegation was headed by Hayye. The meeting discussed political and security issues in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the Gaza Strip. The support fronts of Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq were also among the issues discussed. The parties agreed to continue coordination.

Israel’s Foreign Intelligence Service Mossad announced in a statement that the parties mediating the prisoner swap negotiations conveyed Hamas’ response to the ceasefire offer to the Israeli negotiating team. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated in a meeting with the relatives of the prisoners that the Tel Aviv government was “closer than ever” to a prisoner swap agreement with the Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu stated that the attacks in Gaza would continue until the specified goals were achieved.
