Marmaris Bordubet Forest Fire
A forest fire that broke out on June 30, 2024 at 16:40 in the Bördübet Gölge Bay location of Hisarönü Neighborhood in the Marmaris district of Muğla damaged an area of 5 hectares. The fire was brought under control and extinguished with the intensive intervention of teams from air and land. However, the details regarding the cause of the fire have become a matter of curiosity.
Suspects Detailed
As a result of the investigation carried out at the scene, 3 people who were holidaying in the region with a caravan and who were alleged to have caused the fire were detained by gendarmerie teams. The suspects, PS (39), US (47) and HS (43), were taken to the gendarmerie headquarters on the charge of causing a forest fire by negligence upon the instructions of the public prosecutor on duty.
