Details About KPSS 2021 Exam
According to the statement made by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the KPSS 2021 exam will be held on July 14. The exam will consist of two parts: general ability-general culture session and educational sciences session.
Exam Durations and Details
The general skills-general culture session will start at 10.15 on Sunday and will consist of 120 questions. Candidates will be given 130 minutes to answer. The afternoon education sciences session will start at 14.45 and will consist of 80 questions. Candidates will be given 100 minutes to answer for this session. Candidates who need to use additional time will be able to take an additional 30 minutes.
Participant Numbers and Distribution
Nearly 1 million candidates were applied to the general talent-general culture session. ÖSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy stated that the KPSS marathon will begin with exams to be held in 81 provinces and Lefkoşa. The exams, which were held in 105 exam centers last year, will be held in 135 exam centers this year.
- 1 million 470 thousand 487 candidates were applied to the general talent-general culture session.
- The number of candidates who will attend the afternoon education sciences session is 526 thousand 947.
- 171 thousand 655 candidates will attend the field knowledge sessions.
Other Details
The general ability-general culture session will be held in 4,017 buildings, in a total of 75,064 halls. The educational sciences session will be held in 1,315 buildings, in a total of 25,346 halls. A total of 270,927 officers will take part in the exam.
2,315 disabled candidates and 730 veterans and relatives of martyrs and veterans will participate in the exam. 5,421 of the candidates who were relatives of martyrs and veterans were exempted from the exam fee.
Gender Distribution
The number of female candidates applying to the general skills-general culture session is approximately twice the number of male candidates. While the number of female candidates was 949,545, the number of male candidates was 520,942. 380,244 female and 146,703 male candidates applied to the educational sciences session.
