Shocking Knife Attack in London

London Metropolitan Police announced the knife attack that took place in Leicester Square, one of the most crowded areas of the city. In the incident, a 32-year-old male attacker targeted a little girl and her mother. The child suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, while her mother escaped with minor injuries, authorities said.

It was learned that the attacker was stopped by Abdullah, a 29-year-old restaurant employee. It was stated that the incident was not considered a terrorist attack and that the attacker was not likely to know his victims.

Abdullah told the BBC: “I didn’t have time to think, I didn’t think much. I just saw the child being stabbed and I tried to save him.”
