The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization officials decided to continue aid activities, considering the urgent humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. In the statement, it was announced that a new humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 50 trucks was sent to the Gaza Strip in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization.
The statement said the aid convoy includes food and health packages, tents, blankets and clothing. It was emphasized that these supplies will be distributed to the people in the Gaza Strip through partner associations and organizations in the region.
Secretary-General of the Hashemite Relief Organization of Jordan, Hussein al-Shibli, expressed Jordan’s determination to continue providing aid to the people in the Gaza Strip. Shibli stated that 2,474 aid trucks and 53 planes have arrived in the Gaza Strip across the land border since December.
