US President Joe Biden gave his first television interview to ABC News after the live debate, despite many calls to withdraw from the election race. When asked what happened on the night of the debate, Biden said, “I was very sick, I was feeling very bad.” Biden stated that he had a bad night and said, “Trump was yelling even when his microphone was off. That distracted me. It wasn’t just that, but I didn’t have much control.”

Asked whether he had watched the debate again, Biden said: “No, I don’t think so.”

Biden Doesn’t Believe Polls: “I’m the Man Who Took Putin Down”

Despite trailing in the polls, Biden said, “I don’t believe the polls.” Arguing that no one is more qualified to be president than him, Biden said, “I am the most qualified person to beat Trump.”

Biden, who did not give a clear answer to a question about whether he saw himself as president for another four years, pointed out that he would bring NATO together and said, “I am the guy who brought down Putin.”

Biden: “I’m Being Examined Every Day With What I Do”

Avoiding answering whether he would accept a physical to measure his mental health, Biden said, “I’m already being examined by what I do every day.”

Stating that he was not just running an election campaign, Biden said, “I’m running the world. It may sound like an exaggeration, but it is not, we are the country at the center of the world.”
