Istanbul Airport won the “Excellence Service Award” given by the Airports Council of Europe (ACI Europe). The award was shared with last year’s winner, Rome Fiumicino Airport. The award was presented to İGA CEO Selahattin Bilgen by ACI Europe Director General Olivier Jankovec. Bilgen stated that he was pleased to be deemed worthy of the award.
Istanbul Airport to Host Next Annual General Congress
Istanbul Airport hosted the Airports Council of Europe Annual General Congress between July 1-4. The congress was attended by the world’s leading airport professionals. The future of the sector and the economic situation were discussed at the congress, where Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, İGA CEO Bilgen and ACI Europe Director General Jankovec gave speeches.
Istanbul Airport to Host ACI World Summit
Istanbul Airport will host the ACI World “Customer Experience Summit” in 2026. The signing ceremony, attended by Bilgen and ACI World Director General and CEO Luis Felipe de Oliviera, took place on the last day of the 34th Airports Council Europe Annual General Congress.
